The Charoite from Russia is full of "mum" petals and the dark color of the purple gives perfect contrast. Accenting this gem is a double bezel, first a hand filed edge, then a hand sawn one, both of sterling silver. This piece reverses to reveal a scene from the Soutwest, a 14K Gold Coyote howling at the silver moon, while sitting on a ledge.The reticulated sky is accented by a garnet and sapphire star. Jim Cambern, the artist at Nighthawk Silver, has done an excellent job of this One-of-a-kind piece of art. The pendant measures 1 7/8" wide and 2 5/8" long, including the bail which is stamped on both sides and signed inside by Jim. A 22" adjustable Sterling Silver chain is included.
