I just love the transparencies of flower petals. I hoped to capture the light shining through these tulips. Oil on silk, framed in a miniature hardwood gold leafed frame (at the moment this piece is floating in a full size frame and is in an art show in Iowa. All original miniature oil paintings come with an appropriately sized easel so you can display it anywhere!
