I saw this ship while in Maine painting on the dock. I snapped a few photos for reference and painted it in the studio. I get a lot of requests for marine scenes so I'm guessing this one will go quick. Oil on silk. Framed in a gorgeous dark wood oval frame by S.H. Goode. The frame has a raised textured pattern (email me for photo of frame). This piece is a one of a kind painting and is offered on a "first come, first served" basis. All original miniatures come with an appropriately sized easel so you can display it anywhere! Note: This piece is now floating in a larger frame for the price of $285. for exhibition at the Seaside Miniature Art Show until the end of May 2008). Color copies are also available framed in a simple wooden frame for $18.00 or unframed for $3.00 or as a magnet for $3.50. This piece would be framed in a rectangular frame with a "mat" outline.
